I love fireworks more than anyone out their.  However with the low humidity and the high temperatures some local counties and cities have implemented some bans on fireworks.  This means I probably won't be lighting off my usual assortment.   Get all your up to date fireworks info inside.

Gallatin County

Gallatin County has a ban on all fireworks except the fourth of July.  Remember this is a County Ban, and the individual cities are allowed to regulate their own fireworks.

City of Bozeman

Bozeman Fire Fighters want to remind the valley that Explosive fire conditions have resulted in numerous wildfires that have destroyed dozens of homes and threatened the homes of hundreds of others here in Montana. Montana State Fire Marshall Allen Lorenz is asking Montanans to avoid fireworks this Fourth of July holiday as a result, however, an official ban IS NOT in place.

IMPORTANT: Please remember fireworks are illegal on state and federal lands! Be safe (this year more than ever!)

City of Belgrade

According to the city managers office their is no ban on fireworks at this time.  Fireworks are allowed until 10 pm through the fourth.

City of Livingston And Park County

According to the Livingston Enterprise, "Lighting fireworks is prohibited in Park County — likely for at least 90 days, “We’ve got high temperatures and low humidity and it’s just a recipe for trouble,” Park County Commission Chairman Randy Taylor said Friday."

"Public fireworks displays at the Livingston Roundup Rodeo are exempt from the ban, unless the Park County Rural Fire District or Park County Sheriff’s Office determine the displays need to be banned to protect public health."

Madison County

Madison county has a ban on all fireworks within the county.
