A fire has just started at Mile Marker 36 on Highway 89 South of LivingstonAccording to Park County Disaster & Emergency Services:

Residents that were evacuated are being allowed back into their homes. Fire crews will stay on scene throughout the night to make sure the fire does not flare up again. Good job everyone!

MANDATORY EVACUATION West of Inverness including Inverness Road, Loc Lomond and Black Hawke. The fire is moving towards Old Yellowstone Trail and several houses are being warned of the possible danger.

An evacuation of all houses on the west side of Inverness is now necessary.

Highway 89 South is closed from Pine Creek to Emigrant at this time.  Law Enforcement is still trying to contact all residents on Caledonia to evacuate. If the fire goes beyond Caledonia, there are about 3 miles of grassland before Trail Creek Road.

There is a fire, 5 to 10 acres, burning by Mile Marker 36 on 89 South.  Evacuations have begun.

At least 3 fire districts have responded.  They are asking that traffic be diverted onto East River Road. Please do your part and stay out of the fire area.   Cooperate with Fire and Law - they are trying to save lives and property.  The fire is rapidly approaching Black Hawk Drive

At this time it looks like traffic is being diverted off 89 So at Pine Creek and the south end of East River Road.

Sprinklers have been set up on houses on Caledonia and residents have been advised to evacuate.
