Fifty seven people sat under the clippers on Friday for the annual St. Jude Radiothon head-shave at the Filling Station.

Each year, Bryan Barnhart and Dave Kuhn of Montana Stucco and Rock head up the event. They assemble chairs in front of the bar's stage, plug in their clippers and turn on XL Country 100.7. People soon start showing up to get their heads shaved for St. Jude.

This year about 50 people got haircuts, including Kacie, who walked through the door, sat down, got her head shaved and collected a pair of tickets to tonight's Brantley Gilbert concert at the Brick. She's done it before, but this time she won the tickets for being the first woman of the night to get her head shaved.

Donations are dropped in a jar near the stage. In all, $1,251 was raised at the event, contributing to the total for the radiothon.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help us make our St. Jude Radiothon goal this year. The money raised during the two-day radiothon goes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
