Fatal Accident on South 19th – Victim Identified

We now know more about what caused the fatal accident on South 19th and Goldenstein.

The Montana Highway Patrol says 2 cars were traveling Southbound on 19th.  As they were slowing down to turn East onto Goldenstein, the driver of another Southbound vehicle (victim) went off the right side of the road, corrected and side swiped the car turning left.

The vehicle started to roll and the driver was ejected.  He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Jerry Rickman, 62 years of age, was transported to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.  Mr. Rickman died as a result of the injuries he sustained during the rollover.
