Have you ever been on a TV Game show?  Have you ever won a prize on XL Country? Well here's proof that it can and does happen!

A Dillon teacher won over $24,000 on Wheel of Fortune

Sharmayne MacEwan appeared on Monday night's episode of the game show. Her wheel spinning and puzzle solving won her $24,743. During the show MacEwan landed on the million dollar wedge, however, didn't land on the million when spinning the bonus wheel so her winnings stayed at $24,743 but she did win a trip to Hawaii during the show.

MacEwan and several other potential contestants were interviewed in Missoula last year in a mock game show and she was selected then flew to California in November to tape the episode. She is a special Ed teacher from Parkview Elementary School in Dillon.

Before taping the show MacEwan told us she grew up watching Wheel of Fortune and it was a dream come true to be a contestant on the show.
