DESCRIPTION:Nov. 1 - Feb. 15                          Weaver Room\, [the art  project]\, Galleria Hall              The School of Architecture exhibits  at the following Emerson locations and dates:    Foreign Study Europe  Faculty : Chris Livingston & Laura Landon  December 9th-February 9th  [the art project] at the Emerson #110  Art Walk: December 10th\, 5:00-8:00pm  The European leg of the Fall 2009 foreign study trip included 29  fourth  year students from the MSU School of Architecture traveling to  various  cities in the Netherlands and also Antwerp\, Belgium and Berlin\,   Germany over a 30 day period. This exhibit contains the student’s sketch   journals created on an accordion style sketchbook as well as the   handmade postcards documenting their travels. SUMMARY:MSU Senior Thesis Photography Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Senior Thesis Photography Exhibition is hosted every semester by the senior undergraduate students in the School of Film and Photography\, Photography Option. This exhibition is free and open to the public and provides a chance for the Bozeman community to view the seniors’ final projects of their undergraduate careers. This semester the show will include work from 28 students.    Hor d'oeuvres will be provided and drinks will be available for purchase. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite projects as well as meet the artists and discuss the work. Select images will be available for purchase.

SUMMARY:Drift Ascend - Paintings by Jessica Mongeon Public Reception
DESCRIPTION:Public Reception: Thursday 7 March\, 6:30 – 8:30 PM  Helen E Copeland Gallery\, Haynes Hall    This exhibit exposes and explores structures that are found in the natural world\, as well as the world of imagination. Jessica Mongeon documents her hikes through mountain terrain\, aggregating multiple experiences into large-scale India ink and acrylic paintings on paper. By building up calligraphic marks\, along with larger strokes of color\, she creates a space that speaks to her journeys though the veil of time\, distance and action.
