Eric Church and his wife, Katherine, have welcomed their second child together.

The couple's second son was born on Sunday (Feb. 15). Tennessee Hawkins Church weighed in at 6 lbs. and 12 ounces and was 21 inches long at birth.

They plan to call him Hawk. He joins older brother Boone McCoy Church, who was born in October of 2011.

Eric and Katherine married in January 2008 in North Carolina. The singer is notoriously private with his family life, but he did find a creative way to announce his wife's second pregnancy at a concert in Louisville, Ky. last September, when he altered the lyrics to his hit "Sinners Like Me," singing, "Give my dad another grandson." Church's reps later confirmed the pregnancy to Taste of Country.

Katherine's due date proved tricky; in fact, Church was worried she might go into labor at the Grammys, where he was nominated for Best Best Country Album, Best Country Song, Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

“It’s bad both ways," the singer said. “If she goes into labor at the Grammys, that will be an interesting night for all of us. I told her if we could just make it to the day after the Grammys we’re good.”

He was able to make his live Grammy debut on the program without a hitch on Feb. 8, and his son arrived a week later.

“I'm thrilled that Hawk and his mom are doing well," Church says in a press release. "We aren't sleeping very much, but we are enjoying every part of this incredible journey. I'm very blessed and thankful.”
