Some call it art, but most of the time it's not.

One of the things I've noticed since moving to Bozeman is that there is a lot of graffiti. It's something that came as a surprise to me since Bozeman is such a nice place to live.

When I lived here 12 years ago, I never noticed graffiti. In the proper place, graffiti can sometimes be considered art, but most of the graffiti I've seen in Bozeman hasn't been art at all. In fact, I would call it blatant vandalism, and defacing of private property. I know that Bozeman is still a considerably small town, but I think people could find a more productive use of their time.

One example that angers me the most is the old train station on Wallace. It's a beautiful building that has been destroyed by vandalism and graffiti. I think that as a community we need to make a stand against vandalism before the problem gets more out of hand than it already is. Bozeman is a beautiful place, and it should stay that way.
