After a lockdown on Tuesday at Ennis Schools, local authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying the owner of a specific phone number. The schools were put on lockdown after a threat was received by phone.

The lockdown was lifted a few hours later. According to a press release, the Ennis Police Department, Madison County Sheriff's Department, Montana Highway Patrol, and the United States Forest Service all responded to the schools to ensure the safety of all the students and faculty.

Authorities are now looking for the owner of a phone with the number 406-595-7119. Anyone with information about this number of today's threat is urged to call the Madison County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch Center at 406-843-5301.
