A few weeks ago the Montana Department of Transportation asked Gallatin Valley residents what they thought should be done with the East Valley Center Spur Road. There has been much debate after a number of fatal crashes at the intersection that connects East Valley Center Road (south of I-90) to the Frontage Road.

There was talk of closing intersection, all together. But now after several studies and resident's input, MDT has decided to get rid of the left-turn lane from the Spur Road onto the Frontage Road.

No official word on when this will happen, although it could happen as early as this fall.  What do you think? Good move or bad move?
