Chase Rice, Big & Rich + More Throw a Party at Headwaters Country Jam
Headwaters Country Jam fans packed the venue Friday night (June 27th) to see performances by Chase Rice and Big & Rich. A bit of rain didn’t deter fans at all, as they were having too much fun to even notice!
The theme of the evening was a celebration of patriotism and tribute to our men and women in the military. Chase Rice took the stage first, pleasing fans with his new hit single ‘Ready Set Roll‘ and a cover of Florida Georgia Line’s summertime anthem ‘Cruise,’ which Rice co-wrote and never thought would be a hit song. One thing is for sure, it was a huge hit with the Headwaters Country Jam crowd as it has been on country radio! The energy produced in the audience by Chase Rice’s set would serve as springboard to an incredible performance by headliners Big & Rich as they closed out the evening. Little did fans know they hadn’t seen the last of Chase Rice as he would later return on stage with Big & Rich.
DJ Sinister, Big & Rich’s go to hell raiser, injected the Headwaters Country Jam crowd with a dose of everything from Rap to Country before the duo took to the stage. When they did, fans were treated to more than they could have expected as the duo proceeded to rock the stage with all of their biggest hits and even a little AC/DC. Big & Rich are know for their patriotism, so when we asked them to help us honor veterans during their show, they were more than happy to oblige. During their song ’8th of November,’ veterans joined the duo on stage with American flags for an experience they wouldn’t soon forget, and neither did the crowd. “USA, USA, USA…” became a chant that would echo off the mountain tops for the rest of their set. Before closing out the night, Big & Rich invited Chase Rice back on stage to perform a special acoustic version of ‘Ready Set Roll,’ while jokingly inviting all Headwaters fans back to their tour bus for a party after the show. What a time that would have been!
Here is a look at some of the pictures from last night’s performances, including those from the tribute to our men and women in uniform.
