Te 2012 Super Bowl takes place on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis, and the city is taking the hosting of the NFL event seriously. The powers-that-be have invited some country stars to be a part of the festivities. The city’s Pan Am Plaza is being turned into something called Super Bowl Village from Jan. 27 through Feb. 4, and country stars Dierks Bentley and Darius Rucker are on board to perform during those dates. Bentley and Rucker are essentially on the entertainment road leading up to the actual big game.

During a special ceremony on Feb. 11 — one day before the 2012 Grammy Awards, which will air on CBS — their contributions will be acknowledged by the Recording Academy in front of five other honorees and an invitation only crowd.
