How do you explain the unexplainable to children? Parents across the country, including myself, were faced with this -- fumbling over words while explaining the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown - located only 20 miles away from my own daughter's elementary school.

UPDATE 6:30 p.m.: Originally it was thought that Adam Lanza, the gunman, shot his mother at the Sandy Hook Elementary school, where she was a teacher's aide. ABC has learned that, in fact, Nancy Lanza was killed at her home (by her son) prior to the massacre. He then drove to the school, where he killed 20 children and six adults, before killing himself.
December 6, 2012 The Montana State Bobcats Football team will be facing Sam Houston State on December 7th at Bobcat Stadium. The Bobcats are coming off a first round 16 - 10 win over Stony Brook last weekend. If this season's playoffs look familiar, that's because the Bobcats suffered a loss to Sam Houston State in the second week of the playoffs last year. The Bobcat players say they have a different story planned for 2012 though.
Most of us tune into 'Sunday Night Football' and expect to see one of the weekend's big games. What you don't expect is a lecture on gun control.
