December 22, 2011 I have been in the workforce for a long time. I started working at age 16, and started my professional career at age 21. I have never gotten a good Christmas gift from a company I worked for.
The worst gift? A coffee mug
NBC just announced the lineup for their big New Year’s Eve show, and unlike many ball drop events, they didn’t forget to include a little country music. ‘The Voice’ coach and favored ‘Honey Bee’ hitmaker Blake Shelton will take the stage on ‘New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly’ alongside fellow judge Cee Lo Green, hip-hop’s Drake, pop’s Jessie J, Tony Bennett and the comedy styling of Jimmy Fallon, among others.
There are so many, it was difficult for me to choose which ones to write about! Tons of different Christmas Traditions we all celebrate to all the different things we love to do together as family - from 'everything Christmas' to 'NORAD' to 'Santa Speaking.com'.
December 21, 2011 My mom sent this to me in an email. I am usually pretty organized at Christmas. Get the gifts bought and wrapped early, homemade Christmas goodies, and time to relax with the kids.
This year is different, and I am still not done shopping and wrapping. NO homemade Christmas goodies. Going to try and get some of that done tomorrow.
Back in the ’60s, corporal punishment was common practice for a shocking 94 percent of parents in the US. While a lot of us may find this number unsettling, just as many don’t. In fact, half of all parents today admitted to punishing children by “spanking on the bottom with a bare hand” to a telephone poll conducted by the National Institutes for Mental Health.
Rascal Flatts‘ Jay DeMarcus is slated to make his film debut next year along with Trace Adkins in the holiday film ‘Saving Santa.’ With Kix Brooks sitting in the executive director chair, it’s no surprise that this upcoming release has so many country ties. Touted as “a sweet, funny, holiday story about the belief in love, goodness and the spirit of Christmas,” ‘Saving Santa’ is set to debut next year.
