National nonprofits and physicians’ organizations dedicate every October to the cause of breast cancer awareness — raising funds for research and helping ensure that all women are able to receive regular screenings.
I was able to hold my tears today until after they left, but I was deeply touched by the Bozeman High Students who came in to talk to us today.
Amy Poole lost her mother to cancer. On her own, she started an organization to raise money to pay for medical expenses for cancer patients who can't afford it

I am very lucky, because I have a job where I am paid to do good things. Volunteer work, emceeing events, helping non profits, raising money – it’s all part of what I am supposed to do. And I love it. It’s one of the things in my life I feel most fortunate about. And the cause that I hold closest to my heart is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Why you ask? It’s hard to narrow it down to just a few reasons.

My guess is yes. Tom and I were put to the test this morning, and while of course I am smarter than Tom, I think ALOT of people could beat us at a spelling bee. The Bozeman Schools Foundation is holding its annual Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 5th
Come support those willing to jump in freezing cold water to raise money for the Montana Special Olympics. Each of the plungers has raised at least $100 for the cause and really want to just take the dive. There's a chicken coup for those to scared to get wet but if enough of you show up and cheer them on you could get them out and into the water.
Maybe Kelli Pickler could donate this dress. She wore it once, and you can't get caught wearing the same dress twice if you are famous!
We need your help! Re-Couture, an upscale consignment store is starting it's fairytale project again
When I was in the 8th Grade in Casper, Wyoming (Go East Tigers!) I went on the Close Up trip to Washington, D.C. Kind of life changing. I got to visit all of the big monuments, the Supreme Court, the Smithsonian...all the good stuff. I got to see more than most people do when they visit on their own. It was a learning experience that I still cherish. The 8th Graders at Monforton School are trying to get their entire class on that trip. They have raised thousands and thousands of dollars, but are still $9000 short.
