Although tax rates are a boring subject, you need to keep up with them when they change. Effective 7/1/11, the new standard mileage rate is 55½ cents per mile for the remainder of 2011 (unless they change it again).

You may call me and my horse "unlucky" because he is stabled at the barn where the first positive test result came back for EHV-1 in Montana. I honestly call myself lucky because I know they are taking care of all the horses in the barn AND keeping me up to date. Many of you may have gone to the fairgrounds last night for a discussion led by the Montana Department of Livestock. I, however, couldn' make it because I had puppy obedience class.
I'm wierd. I don't use salt. I never use it when I cook, unless a recipe calls for it (but then again I don't follow recipes often). I never add salt to my meal once it is on a plate. I don't know why, but I don't have the salt craving like most of the population. I also don't have high blood pressure.
