Carrie Underwood Dresses to Prove She’s Not Pregnant

Carrie Underwood wants everyone to know she is not pregnant! The newlywed says she has a sure-fire way to steer clear of those pesky baby bump rumors that plague plenty of celebs her age.

"[I] choose my wardrobe differently, because when I wear something a little baggier, I'm like, nope, people are going to think I'm hiding something, so I better not wear that," she explains to People. "So it does make me kind of think a little extra."

Carrie says it will be awhile before she and her husband, Nashville Predators hockey player Mike Fisher, add to the family. "I don't want people assuming that I am [pregnant] until I say that I am," she insists. "We just got married. We haven't been married a year yet. I would want to be married for a little while [before having kids]."

Carrie can be seen on the big screen later this week, when she makes her acting debut in the new film, 'Soul Surfer,' which hits theaters April 8. See a preview here
