We both always dress up for Halloween during our morning show.

But Ally's the one who really gets into it: Halloween is one of her favorite holidays. Ever since she was a little girl she's always loved getting dressed up ~ it's so much fun and makes work even better. Since the countdown to Halloween has officially begun (less than four weeks!), we hit Goodwill together to start getting ideas.

We were blown away by their selection. You find so much Halloween inspiration just by walking in and heading to the Halloween section. They have pre-packaged costumes and clothing that you can mix and match to build your own look. Plus, they have all the accessories you need: makeup, hats, wigs, shoes, swords and more.

We tore through the place like whirling dervishes. (Here's the actual footage):

Can you see Ally handing out candy to trick-or-treaters in this?

Would Dave be warmer trick-or-treating with his son if he wore leggings?

Dave got to clowning around a bit much:

So Ally put him in costume jail:

We both checked out some goofy hats:

But you'll never guess the coordinating costumes we settled on! (Want to try to guess? Two clues: We'll be drinking our beer warm. And our characters are celebrating more than Halloween this month.)

Check back later this month for an update on our final costume selection.

In the meantime, don't miss out on the AMAZING selection and prices at our local Goodwill stores: 2130 Simmental Way in Bozeman (clink link for Google Map)  and 6161 Jackrabbit Lane in Belgrade.

And, if you need a little inspiration for your costume, check out Goodwill's Halloween Look Book, online costume generator, DIY tips and much more here.

For younger goblins and ghouls, they also are having a Kids' Day celebration on Oct. 13. Click here for more details.
