Bozeman Assault

Early this morning around 3:54 am, officers responded to an assault that occurred at 606 North 5^th Ave.  A male victim, age 51, was assaulted with a knife and received non-life threatening injuries.  The defendant, identified as Mark Nicholas White, age 47, was detained a short distance from the scene, and was ultimately arrested and charged with Assault with Weapon.  The victim was transported to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital for treatment.  Bozeman Police Detectives continue their investigation of the incident.  Detective Scott Vongehr said, “The quick response time of the responding Patrol Officers was a key factor in bringing the situation safely and effectively under control.”
