What a huge weekend for MSU Bobcat basketball. Both the men's and the women's teams swept the University of Montana Grizzlies at home.

The MSU women won 71-54 after trailing at halftime 26-29. The Bobcat women outscored the Lady Griz 45-25 in the 2nd half. That completed a season sweep for the women over the Griz who they beat three weeks ago in Missoula 75-69. It's the first sweep of the Lady Griz since 1999. The Montana State women are at home this week hosting Idaho State on Wednesday, March 1, and Weber State on Friday, March 3.

In the nightcap on Saturday night, the MSU men defeated Montana 78-69 before the first sellout crowd in over 10 years at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. 6,772 fans packed into Worthington Arena to witness the first win over cross-state rival Montana in the Brian Fish era. Tyler Hall led the Bobcats with 37 points on 11-13 shooting (including 6-8 from behind the 3pt line).

The Bobcat men are now 15-14 overall on the season, 10-6 in the Big Sky Conference. MSU plays at Idaho State on Thursday and Weber State on Saturday to close out the season.

What an amazing Saturday it was for both MSU basketball teams!
