Big Sky Resort Is Adding 5 New Gladed Runs On Andesite Mountain
Biggest skiing in America is getting even bigger! Big Sky Resort is expanding its gladed tree runs by adding five new ski trails with 20+ acres of new terrain that will open on Andesite Mountain for the 2011/2012 winter season.
The new trails will be accessible off of Ramcharger Chairlift, a high speed quad that runs from the Mountain Village base area to the top of Andesite Mountain. Big Sky Resort’s Mountain Manager said these new runs on Andesite are going to make for truly exceptional glade skiing.
The new trails will include Wolf Den (Black Diamond), located in between Mad Wolf and Elk Park Ridge, Shady Chute (Double Black Diamond), a yet unnamed Blue Square that runs through the Peru and Bolivia territory, Congo Line (Blue Square) and Madagascar (Blue Square) below Congo.
