Banning Cell Phones In Bozeman

The Bozeman City Commission last night voted 4-1 to ban the use of hand held devices while driving or bicycling.

The issue will have to go through a second reading and vote.  If approved again, it will become law 30 days after the vote.

I have to say, I am all for this.  There’s just too much proof that it is dangerous to talk/text on a phone while driving.  I have seen people speeding down the road, looking at their phones instead of the road.

I think about when my kids start driving.  I don’t even want their phones in the front seat.

What about you, XL Nation, what do you think of the hand held cell phone ban?
