Week 3 At The Gym In One Word – SUCK
July 3, 2011 Boo on week 3. To give you a little catch up, I was in the silly car wreck that has really been difficult for me to recover from. I am at the point where now I am working out a little 6 days a week, and I really struggle getting through the plan most days. I know I am making progress, especially in the repair of my back and neck ligaments, but its a very difficult process to go through. Week 3 absolutely sucked. I got an F, my body got and F, it was one ginormous boo.

5 Years And I Haven’t Burned Down The House!
July 1, 2011 Today is a big day for me, it was 5 years ago that I closed on my very first home. 5 years and I haven't burned it down yet - I have flooded it, started it on fire (major oops), painted, repainted, demo'd - It's been puked on and chewed up by the dogs - I have mowed and cleaned tirelessly...BUT its all mine.

What Do You Do For The Fourth Of July?
June 29, 2011 Fourth Of July is one of those holidays that has just not been the same since I left home. I used to spend the 4th with my cousins at the farm – which is on the lake. I have such fond memories of my cousin shooting bottle rockets at chickens – running after those parachute fireworks and getting them, even if they were in the lake – scaring animals – swimming and playing in the water… I miss these times A LOT.

Week 2 Back At The Gym – A Little Better

My Heart Is At Home – North Dakota Is Under Water
June 24, 2011 It's been all over the news - Minot, North Dakota is under water. Minot is about an hour and a half away from where I grew up on my family farm, and it's hard to watch from afar as this disaster takes over the area.
Facebook, gotta love it - but it also brings you face to face with issues your family and friends are dealing with. Everything from I bet my home is gone, to helping walk doggies kept at the local shelter until the waters reside - which may be many weeks.
