Last weekend my boyfriend Ross and I headed to the movie store. He wanted to see “Paul”, and since it seemed pretty boyish – I got to choose a chick flick. Let me just tell you, I picked the WRONG one. And a side note, Paul was super funny – which made my pick ALL the worse.

Eating fat won't make you fat any more than eating money will make you rich.
Sure, if you stuff enough cold, hard cash down your gullet, your belly will probably stick out like an overfed oil exec. Same with fat. Fat keeps us full, and healthy fats like those found in seafood and many plants help protect against heart disease. But most of us are eating way, way too much of the wrong kinds—and getting fatter in return.

Every once in a while, a celebrity feud comes along that makes past celebrity feuds pale in comparison. The Paula Deen-Anthony Bourdain food fight (har har) is one instance of a famous-on-famous smackdown that is so nasty and unexpected and awesome, it will most certainly be a starred footnote within the enemies' respective Wikipedia pages until the end of time. Or something.

In the game Rock, Paper, Scissors, two opponents randomly toss out hand gestures, and each one wins, loses or draws with equal probability. It’s supposed to be a game of pure luck, not skill — and indeed, if humans were able to be perfectly random, no one could gain an upper hand over anyone else.
There’s one problem with that reasoning: Humans are terrible at being random.
