I have always been a dog person. When I was young my dog would have to go to my Aunt’s house about an hour away anytime we would go on vacation, and sometimes it would take a few days after we got back until we were able to go get her. My mom loves to tell how I would always be “sick” until we would go pick her up. Now days I have three crazy dogs that are the center of my universe. Kobe – my black lab – has a particularly special place in my heart.
One thing I have learned after being a home owner for a couple of years is that no one gives you an instruction manual when you move in. I was lucky and got a beautiful home with a gorgeous yard. The woman who lived there before me was a green thumb, and her love of gardening was evident the second you looked at the house. I have tried and tried and tried to keep up, but to be honest my yard and garden looks horrible – I need help! I am super exited for the Flower and Garden Show Saturday at Wagner Nursery!
