Best Parent Friendly Restaurant in Bozeman? [POLL]

I've been lucky enough to live only 2 hours from my hometown, Billings, and my family. This allows me to make many trips to visit the parents and also allows my parents to visit Bozeman. This weekend they will be here and I've been promised a dinner. We usually frequent the usual restaurants because my parents like their habits but this time we are wanting to try something new. Where would you recommend I take my parents to mix things up?

Emily Dickinson Students Choose First Student-Selected Moon Images [PHOTO]

Fourth Grade students of Bozeman’s Emily Dickinson Elementary School were honored with choosing the first photos to be released from the two satilites, Ebb and Flow, orbiting the moon. The students won this honor by submitting the winning names, Ebb and Flow, for the two satellites in a national contest. The photo they chose gives a great depiction of the far side of the moon along with Earth just off the horizon. Two things you never get to see while stationed here on Earth.

The website STDCarriers.com is a website that allows people to anonymously post a person’s name, location, photo and what STD’s the individual has. Does the finger pointer need proof the individual has an STD? Nope. How do you get your name taken off the website? Only by sending in proof that you do not have the supposed STD. Belgrade’s Got Talent 2012 This Wednesday [VIDEO]

I never really got into the America’s Got Talent TV show. Probably because I was busy watching a sit-com opposite it on another channel. I would, however, watch the YouTube clips of the especially talented performers the next day. That being said, I would love to watch a live recording of the show. This Wednesday, Belgrade is hosting their third annual local version of the show at the Belgrade Lounge. It should be great judging by videos of last year which I’ve included inside.

How I Learned To Sneak Anything Through The TSA Full Body Scanners [VIDEO]

As Bozeman was the first to incorporate the full body scanners in Montana, we should be celebrating the new security right? The new TSA body scanners were put into place to improve efficiency and heighten airline security. What if you were told these devices are actually easier to bypass than a metal detector? Where is the fair trade off of privacy for security then? This short YouTube video demonstrates how to easily sneak metallic objects through the scanners.

Kony 2012 – Help Stop the World’s Most Wanted Criminal [VIDEO]

This video will most likely change your life. I had never heard of Joseph Kony before watching this documentary and that scares me. The documentary, Kony 2012, aims to spread awareness about Joseph Kony’s crimes in central Africa and bring this criminal’s reign of terror to a stop before 2013. With today’s technology and social network can we make it happen?

Purchase the Town of Pray, MT for $1.4 Million!

I remember building small towns out of Legos or building blocks as a kid. Generally that city would end up smashed because the most fun I could have with a fictitious town was to destroy it. Now is the chance for anyone with $1.4 million to own a real life town here in Montana! Hopefully the new owner will help it thrive and not let it fall to ruins.
