According to America's Health Rankings Montana is ranked the 29th healthiest state in the US.  How did they come up with this ranking?  There are a few different factors that play into the ranking, such as binge drinking and diabetes.  Check out who is healthier than us.

The #1 healthiest state is Vermont.  My guess is that it is so boring there that they have nothing better to do.  Although Vermont is the home for Ben & Jerry's ice cream, you'd almost think that might bring down their ranking.

So why is Montana ranked #29?  A few factors--- Our 'Challenges' according to the health ranking are, low immunization coverage, high occupational fatalities rate, and a high prevalence of binge drinking (we're ranked 41st in that one...)  To see the full line up of why we aren't very healthy check out Montana's Health Ranking.
