The hospital must return Brooks' $500,000 because they didn't make good on a promise to name a new women's center after his late mother.

Brooks has also been awarded an additional $500,000 in punitive damages.

According to Tulsa ABC affiliate KTUL, the hospital was found to be fraudulent in the matter and acted with malice.

Brooks made the donation in 2005 under the impression it was going towards the naming rights on a new women's center. Once it became clear that wasn't the case, Brooks asked for the money back, but Integris claimed it was an anonymous donation. They also claimed there was no written documentation linking Brooks' donation to the naming rights.
