It's almost Halloween so be sure to enjoy these October celebrations this weekend:

Family Grossology Halloween Party

Put your costumes on and get into the Halloween spirit with some gross science, icky crafts, spooky stories and goody bags at Museum of the Rockies on Saturday, October 27th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Cost of the Grossology Halloween Party is included with admission.

Alder Pumpkin Fest

Celebrate fall and all the joys that come with the season at the High Country Garden Center. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. you can enjoy the following autumn fun with a straw maze, pumpkins, train rides, 24 ft Slide, fresh pumpkin donuts and homemade fries. It's part of their Annual Pumpkin Festival all of October at High Country Irrigation and Landscaping. They are just off Highway 287 at 228 MT HWY 287 in Alder, Montana.

"Farm of Fear" Haunted House

Be ready for a good scream at this weekend's "Farm of Fear" Haunted House at Anderson School. For over 20 years the Anderson School 8th graders put on a haunted house with the proceeds going to support a class trip to Washington D.C. The haunted house will be at the Little Red School House just past Anderson School on Cottonwood Road. It's $5 per person for the lights on version from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The lights off version is 7 to 10 p.m. and is $8. Details and tickets here.

Run 4 Your Life 10k/5k/Kids' Run

Look out for spooky characters along the Run 4 Your Life 10k & 5k Run/Walk in support of the Help Center. The 10k gets started at 10 a.m. and the 5k starts at 10:15 a.m. at the Bozeman Help Center. There's also a Kid's Run with all the fun just no spooks at 9:30 a.m. More details here.

Flashlight Night in the Maze

They're dimming the lights and letting you find your way through the Bozeman Straw Bale Maze with just a flashlight. They'll provide the flashlights and once you make it through the maze enjoy a hot drink, popcorn, bins full of corn, hay rides and puzzle mazes. It's happening Friday and Saturday, October 26th and 27th at 7 p.m.

Illusionist Jay Owenhouse at the Brick

Bozeman's own Jay Owenhouse and legendary escape artist is returning by popular demand. Enjoy the show on Saturday, October 27th at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets and details here.
