The HRDCs Warming Center, which provides overnight shelter for people during the cold winter months, is in need of monetary donations. They're good on supplies but they are short on money for overhead costs this year. Since November 1, the Warming Center has served 82 unique individuals, 20 of whom are women. Their operating budget is over $200,000 every year.

Here's 5 Reasons You Should Give $10 to the HRDC's Warming Center Right Now:

  1. Everyone should have a warm place to sleep
  2. You may need to use it someday
  3. On the coldest of winter nights, the Warming Center saves lives
  4. It's Christmas and this season is not about gifts but doing something for others.
  5. You will feel good about doing it.

While many of the people that use the Warming Center are homeless, some are folks who find themselves in a temporary fix. Some are also between houses and find themselves with needing a place to stay until they are able to move in. And let us not forgot about kids, who without the Warming Center, would have to sleep outside or in a vehicle.

If you would like to help out the Warming Center with a monetary donation, you can do so by clicking on the link below. The HRDC's Warming Center is 100% community funded, and they want you to know how much they appreciate your support.
