If you're looking for what's happening on the 4th of July around the Bozeman area besides fireworks, here's a few events we thought sounded fun:

  • Festival of the Fourth - Gallatin County Fairgrounds, Sat @ 6:30 p.m. A BBQ & concert by the Bozeman Symphony, all put on by the Gallatin Empire Lions Club. Fireworks will follow at 10:30 p.m. More Info
  • Mixers 4th of July Celebration - Mixers (Aspen St) in Bozeman. Free BBQ for the whole family. Live music with the Yellowstone Drifters from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. Watch fireworks from outside parking lot.
  • Ice Cream Social - Living History Barn (Tinsley House-MOR), 2 p.m. Saturday. Ice cream, games, crafts.
  • 4th of July Flag Ceremony - Bozeman Library, Saturday @ 8 a.m. Local Boy Scouts will perform a Flag ceremony, patriotic music with our friends the Chord Rustlers, and a brief patriotic talk from a local Veteran, refreshments.

A Note on Bozeman Fireworks: Fireworks are expected to start at 10:30 p.m on Saturday night. Make sure you tune into 100.7 XL Country wherever you're watching the fireworks for patriotic music to accompany the fireworks show!
