3 Things Ally Learned at the DMV

Since I just got married, I needed to change my name on my license and update a few things.  So I was off the the DMV for a new Driver's License.

1.

License photos aren't flattering.  They aren't selfies or made to be your profile picture on social media, so naturally they aren't going to be the most attractive photo ever.  Even if you have your hair and makeup done you'll probably still look funny.

The Montana paper temporary license is really fancy! There's color, a watermark, and it even looks like a license.  In Colorado, the temporary license they give you is a half sheet of paper that doesn't fit in your wallet.

The DMV doesn't take as long as people say.  All I heard were horror stories.  Everyone was super helpful giving me hints to make an appointment, never go at lunch and that I should be prepared to wait HOURS.

I was in and out of the DMV in about 30 minutes. As long as you have all your paperwork with you then it's a pretty easy process.  If you've been to the DMV and it's taken too long I'm sure you can relate to the video below.
