• Children's Museum of Bozeman: The second Friday of each month admission to the museum is FREE! Play and learn as you explore our permanent and traveling exhibits and enjoy presentations by local science experts, artists, health care professionals, and community leaders. • Gallatin Roller Girlz - Roller Derby: Saturday @ 7:30 p.m., Haynes Pavillion. It's their first home bout of the season. Haynes Pavilion. GRG’s Mountain Mayhem faces off against the Portneuf Valley Bruisers from Pocatello, ID. Paleontologists, archaeologists, and dinosaurs are encouraged for this Jurassic-themed event. Costumed attendees aged 18+ get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka suicide or nose bleed seats). All in costume will receive a coupon for free ice cream. • Hyalite Canyon Spring Cleanup: Sunday, 12:30 p.m.. Friends of Hyalite organize a bi-annual cleanup in spring and fall. Almost 10 tons of garbage and recyclables are removed every year from trailheads, parking lots, campsites and along roads. Cleanup days are held on the weekend before the road opens in May and on the day before rifle season begins in October and are followed by a volunteer appreciation BBQ sponsored by local businesses. Please bring gloves,water appropriate clothing. Hyalite Day use Pavilion. 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.
