Montana State Bobcats will unveil a new logo Wednesday (4/17/13) at 1:30 pm in the Stadium Club at Bobcat Stadium.

It's the first new sports logo since 2004, and the public is invited to attend.

Pro football legend Jan Stenerud will be recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Allstate Insurance Company in Bozeman, Montana on Thursday, April 25, as part of “Hometown Hall of Famers™.”

A native Norwegian, Stenerud chose his alma mater, Montana State University in Bozeman, as the recipient of his hometown plaque commemorating where his football career truly began.

As the first full-time placekicker to enter the Hall and former college standout at Montana State University, Stenerud will be presented with his “Hometown Hall of Famer™” plaque during a special ceremony at 11:00 a.m. MT on Thursday, April 25, in the school’s football stadium, where the plaque will live permanently to serve as an inspiration for the school’s students and athletes.

The presentation will be made by Tom Parac, one of Stenerud’s college football coaches.

The ceremony will be attended by Montana State University students, faculty, staff, alumni and Stenerud’s close friends. Tyler Wiltgen, host of “Voice of the Bobcats” for Montana State University football broadcasts, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
